Hey you guys.....I'm Abbey, and I am 13 years old as of January. My family is about to head off on a road trip across the west. We are all very excited, and my family has a blog to record the process of the trip, but, that's the family blog....this is my blog. I'm going to share MY point of view on the trip and what I really think about it. It might be interesting to read the family blog and then read this one. But, I am expecting the trip to be great, and I can't wait to start our adventure!

Well, since we don't start the actual trip for a while yet.... probably September....I'm just going to post about my day and the regular happenings here. Right now it's 1:30 and the sun is already starting to set behind the trees. I don't like the short days up here, but I do enjoy the long days in summer. It's getting warmer, and the snow is falling off our roof. It sounds like thunder when it lands.
I just finished the Battle of the Books meeting with Kelly and Rowan. It was pretty fun, but I have to read 3 more books before the battle next week! I hope we do well!
